SQL Developer Hybrid Role (Based in the North East) £30,000 - £35,000 Dependent on Experience An established Finance Business Intelligence (BI) team is seeking a skilled SQL Developer. The successful candidate will take on an end-to-end development role, working primarily with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and managing all ETL and Data Warehousing processes to support evolving business reporting needs. Responsibilities Write structured SQL code to ensure effective data manipulation and retrieval. Proactively identify and resolve issues with datasets, reports, stored procedures, views, and jobs. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully understood and met. Design intuitive, user-focused reports tailored to business needs. Follow established testing and change management protocols. Document new processes to support clarity and future maintenance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Strong data modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Proficiency in SQL development, ideally within SSMS. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with ETL concepts and processes. Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
