Job Title: Junior Design Engineer – Mechanical / Sheet Metal / Fabrication Location: Lincoln (Office-based) Salary: Up to £30,000 Annual Bonus Hours: Monday–Friday, Flexible Start/Finish Are you a Junior or Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer looking to kick-start your career? The Role: Working alongside a Senior Design Engineer, you’ll be designing and developing mechanical components used in agricultural equipment. Responsibilities include: * Creating 3D models and technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor * Designing sheet metal and fabricated components * Working with internal teams and customers to improve existing products * Supporting product development from concept through to manufacture * Carrying out market research to support design decisions The Person: * Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Product Design, or similar * Some experience with CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) * Interest or experience in sheet metal, fabrication, or mechanical design * Keen to learn, with good communication and problem-solving skills Salary & Benefits: * Up to £30,000 depending on experience * Company bonus scheme – last year all staff received a minimum of 4% * Flexible working hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm) * Secure, growing business with excellent training and development If you’re looking to develop as a Design Engineer and want to be part of a friendly, experienced team—apply today
