Finance Manager

Anderson Knight Recruitment is delighted to be working with one of our key clients, a high-flying retail business, in the search for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced business that is continuing to scale. This role is being offered as an initial 12-month fixed term contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. The business is open to candidates who are qualified by experience as well as those with formal accounting qualifications. Key Responsibilities: Full ownership of the monthly management accounts process Oversight of day-to-day finance operations, including AP, AR, and cashflow Preparation of monthly board reports and variance analysis Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors Budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with departmental leads Drive process improvements and identify efficiencies across the finance function Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders to support commercial decisions Support junior members of the finance team and contribute to a collaborative team culture Skills & Experience Required : Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager role, ideally within retail or a fast-paced commercial environment Strong understanding of financial reporting and management accounts Confident working independently and taking ownership of core finance processes Excellent Excel and systems skills Strong communication and business partnering abilities Open to both qualified accountants and those qualified by experience This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business at an exciting time of growth.
