Business Development Manager Glasgow or Edinburgh Tech, Media & IP An international law firm is looking for an experienced BD Manager to sit within their dedicated Tech, Media and IP practice. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of 5 BD professionals to lead and support lawyers working for many of the world’s biggest brands on often market-defining mandates. Highlights Support the Partners in targeting potential clients and further developing existing relationships. Keep abreast of relevant developments, legislation, and regulations to build and broaden understanding of department’s work, enabling knowledgeable conversations and BD recommendations. Co-ordinate and host internal and external events, seminars, webinars and socials. Support on the development and execution of effective marketing campaigns. Business planning including contributing to the budgeting process within your area of responsibility and monitoring spend against budget. The successful candidate will have worked at another law firm in a similar BD role. Having worked within Tech, Media & IP would be a clear advantage but the firm will consider candidates who have a genuine interest in those markets
