Job Description
A global manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Transition Lead to support the migration of Finance functions to a centralized Business Service Centre (BSC), as part of a broader Finance Transformation program. Reporting to the Transition Manager, this role requires strong expertise in project and change management, process transition, and stakeholder engagement to ensure an effective and efficient relocation of operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding business continuity while delivering scalable and sustainable transition outcomes. Key Responsibilities Transition Planning & Execution Design and implement comprehensive transition plans aligned with the program framework. Evaluate Finance processes for transition feasibility while ensuring regulatory and operational compliance. Define and monitor key performance indicators to measure transition success. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Collaborate with global stakeholders, including senior leadership and BSC teams, to align on transition objectives. Communicate plans, timelines, and expectations clearly and consistently. Proactively manage stakeholder concerns, resistance, and risks. Process Mapping & Knowledge Transfer Oversee the documentation of Desk Top Procedures (DTPs) for transitioned processes. Lead knowledge transfer, training sessions, and workshops for BSC staff. Ensure effective handover and operational continuity post-transition. Risk & Change Management Identify and mitigate risks associated with transitioning finance operations. Lead structured change management efforts to reduce business disruption. Monitor post-transition performance and address process inefficiencies. Continuous Improvement & Governance Recommend and implement process enhancements to support BSC effectiveness. Establish governance frameworks and uphold service-level agreements (SLAs). Contribute to the long-term optimization of the BSC model. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in transition management, shared services setup, or offshoring initiatives. Background in Finance and Accounting. Strong project management capabilities; ability to manage multiple complex transitions simultaneously. Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement across global, cross-functional teams. Proficiency in change management principles and process migration best practices. Familiarity with BSC operating models, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and governance structures. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Fluent English (spoken and written). Preferred Qualifications Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). Finance-related certifications or academic background preferred. Note: This is a confidential opportunity.
