Job Description

A confidential global manufacturing company is seeking a seasoned Finance Optimization Project Manager to support and lead strategic initiatives as part of its global finance transformation. Reporting to the Director of Finance Optimization, this individual will play a key role in advancing operational efficiency, enterprise performance management, and strategic cost initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to drive meaningful change by enhancing the value Finance delivers to the broader organization, with a strong emphasis on automation, compliance, and business insight. Key Responsibilities Support and manage finance transformation workstreams, contributing to the development and execution of strategic finance initiatives. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational and reporting efficiency. Develop compelling business cases for change and optimization opportunities. Uphold rigorous project governance and change management standards. Enhance data integrity and enable improved decision-making through performance management practices. Advocate for and help advance the company’s Finance Optimization strategy and vision. Foster collaboration within global Finance and operational teams. Provide informal team leadership, mentorship, and professional guidance. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance transformation, process optimization, or finance project management. Professional designation required (MBA, CPA, CA, or equivalent). Demonstrated knowledge in the following areas: Planning, budgeting, and forecasting Business performance management and reporting Financial close and reporting cycles Process improvement methodologies Change and project management practices Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive consensus among stakeholders. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global team environment. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Willingness to travel occasionally to meet program needs. Please Note: This is a confidential opportunity.
