Engineering Manager - Responsabile Ufficio Tecnico

Are you an experienced mechanical engineer with a passion for managing a team of Designers, design process standardization and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and international technical environment? At Thermoplay we are looking for you! : Be responsible for guaranteeing the proper management and organization of the activities related to the Engineering Department; Ensure that quality, health and safety and compliance standards (Code of Conduct and GDPR) are respected and applied in the department, in order to achieve the set objectives; Operate with a view to continuous improvement. : Guarantee the continuous communication flow with team members, Line Manager and colleagues of other functions and participate in working groups and interdisciplinary committees so to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness; Manage technical and organizational aspects of the Department, in Italy and abroad; Give technical support to the designers, ensuring best solutions are designed; Keep constant communication and collaboration with Quality, Production, Sales and R&D for ensuring continuous improvement; Be the key point of contact for internal and external customers and suppliers. , : At least 3 years experience in a similar role gained in manufacturing companies in the metalworking sector; Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines or mechanical engineering supported by experience gained in a similar context; Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English - Italian mothertongue is key; Good knowledge of the Office package and Creo 2 - Pro Engineer Knowledge of technical design; Outstanding organizational skills, interpersonal skills and team work. Excellent flexibility and accuracy are required.
