Welding Inspector

We are looking for a Welding Inspector for our sites in Italy. The ideal candidate must be fully conversant with welding processes such as MIG, TIG, arc, laser and butt with metals, including steel and aluminum for use on tubes, non-tubular bars, plates and tanks. Successful applicants need to be able to work with project quality engineers and follow blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities & Duties: Coordination of welding specifications, codes, and technical standards Management of relationships with subcontractors and third-party entities for NDT inspections Daily review of inspection reports and radiographic films Attendance at welder and procedure qualification tests Analysis of welding defects and supervision of corrective actions Monitoring of radiation safety on site Preparation of non-conformance reports and support in final project documentation Verification of NDT compliance for hydrostatic testing Control of welding electrodes and equipment in use Support to QC inspectors and on-site technical training Requirements: Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent combination technical training (Certifications: AWS, CSWIP, HND, HNC or NVQ)and related experience 8-10 years of experience as a Welding Inspector 8-10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry Availability to work on-site Place of work: sites in Italy This position is open to candidates of all genders, in full compliance with Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 and subsequent amendments, and Legislative Decrees No. 215 and No. 216 of 2003 on equal treatment.
