We are currently looking for a Director of IT & Security to join our partner company's team in Europe. Role Overview: We seek an experienced and visionary leader to direct the strategic technology and cybersecurity initiatives. The role involves leading a dedicated IT & Security team, influencing executive decisions, and fostering a culture of security, compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in ethical hacking and a strategic mindset to integrate security at every business level. Passion for innovation and resilience, along with the ability to balance agility with protection, are crucial. Key Responsibilities: Define and execute the company's IT and cybersecurity strategies. Advise senior leadership on technology risks and mitigation strategies. Implement ethical hacking practices, including red teaming and bug bounty programs. Manage threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and incident response. Develop and maintain a control framework aligned with global compliance standards. Lead risk assessments to ensure protection without hindering business agility. Enhance infrastructure and cloud security through automation. Oversee IT & Security budgets, vendor relationships, and tooling. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing IT & Security team. Minimum Requirements: 10 years in IT and cybersecurity leadership roles. Hands-on experience in ethical hacking and red team operations. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS; GCP or Azure considered). Familiarity with DevSecOps, infrastructure security, and compliance frameworks. Proven ability to lead security initiatives in scale-up or tech-centric environments. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience managing budgets, vendors, and technical roadmaps.
