The Role and About You As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you'll take ownership of a desk in the North West Maintenance Engineering market — an active, high-demand sector where good recruiters thrive. You'll inherit warm sales data and existing client relationships, so you won't be starting from zero — but you'll have the freedom to build and shape your desk with autonomy. You'll be: Developing business with both new and existing clients, with plenty of warm leads to go at Building long-term relationships with hiring managers and becoming their go-to recruiter Sourcing and managing candidates in a competitive, fast-moving market Handling offers, negotiations, and closing deals with confidence Working toward a leadership pathway — this role has genuine scope to progress into team management About you: You're already billing, but you want more control, a bigger desk, and a route to grow into leadership You're commercially sharp, resilient, and take pride in building relationships that last You're looking for a business that backs you — with real investment in your market, not just lip service You'll have a high level of written and spoken English.
