Fire Systems Engineer: Install and Commissioning (Greater Manchester) Are you an experienced Fire Systems Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Fire & Security specialist for a Fire Systems Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join their growing team. (PERM) About the Role: As a Fire Systems Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and management of small to large-scale fire system projects. The role requires frequent travel across the Midlands and North of England , ensuring the successful execution of projects within budget and on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Install, commission, and manage fire system projects Plan and control labour and materials to deliver projects effectively Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet company standards Provide technical expertise and attend site meetings as required Manage and oversee engineers and subcontractors Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations Process cost sheets and liaise with purchasing teams Maintain quality control and technical documentation What We’re Looking For: Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fire systems industry Strong technical knowledge of major fire systems (GENT) Experience managing engineering projects across multiple site locations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Experience: Familiarity with the following fire systems would be an advantage: Fire: Gent, Notifier, Kentec, Ziton, Advanced, Morley, C-Tec, Protec What’s in It for You?
