Night Shift - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer £16.69ph PAYE Hours: 10 hour night shifts 5 nights a week, 20:00 - 06:00 or 21:00 to 07:00 Location: St Helens Merseyside What you'll be doing; Complete nightly engineering checks such as, fire-watch checks, guard checks, machine checks, emergency stops Complete PPMs on systems and machines (conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, motors) Complete work orders / requests and report defects Reactive to breakdowns Looking for process improvements to reduce downtime on Process / Plant What we're looking for; Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is essential Experience gained working with conveyors is highly desirable SRG is the UK's number one recruitment company specialising in the scientific, engineering, clinical, pharmaceutical, food/FMCG, energy & renewables, biotech, chemical and medical device sectors.
