Job Description

Role: Field Network Analyst Location: 50/50 Split (Rednal and Fieldwork UK-Wide) Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (plus Electric Company Car) Network IT are looking for a Network Analyst to join our client's large dedicated, enterprise network team supporting anything and everything networking across their numerous UK-wide sites. As a Network Analyst, you’ll manage and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and firewall services, ensuring system reliability, performance, and compliance. This role will require you to be on-site or out in the field going to affected sites 4 days a week, which you will be given a company-car to get to. You will require a full UK driving licence and be able to travel around the UK regularly. Responsibilities Design, implement, and support network infrastructure across multiple sites Deliver 3rd line support for LAN/WAN, wireless, and firewall technologies Maintain high-level network documentation, asset records, and monitoring systems Support MPLS environments, remote access, and wireless solutions Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues Participate in out-of-hours support Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and SLA targetsExperience Proven experience in enterprise network support, troubleshooting, and writing high-level documentation. Hands-on knowledge of: Networking Devices: Cisco Meraki Firewalls: Fortinet Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, Nagios Protocols: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP Environments: MPLS, SD-WAN, public cloud platforms Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, and service improvement practices Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented, proactive mindset Effective communicator with a customer-focused approach
