Sales Account Manager

Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing company to recruit for a Sales Account Manager in Wednesbury. We are looking for someone with a solid strong background in managing a large portfolio of customers whilst generating new business from lapsed customers. You will be the key point of contact for the customer from providing product information, order generation and client aftercare. You will be working as part of a pairing to manage a territory together, generating new business, growing existing accounts and supporting the business through a period of growth. Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for: Account Manage and existing portfolio of customers Create new business opportunities Reconnect with lapsed accounts by providing a fresh contact or approach Introduce new products from the expanding range, up-sell and cross-sell to ensure customers are aware of the full product portfolio. Work closely with your Field Sales Manager to work towards your targets and KPI’s Skills & experience required. Proven B2B sales experience Experience working towards and achieving KPI’s and sales targets Experience working in an industrial or engineering setting, with chemicals, adhesives or paints would be advantageous Benefits Salary of up to £26,000 Annual bonus structure Quarterly sales incentives Hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30- 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 13.30 Company pension 25 days holiday plus BH 4x Life insurance Office based role Citrus Recruit acts as an employment business when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
