Electro Mechanical Design – Contract Peterborough An opportunity to integrate into the dynamic Electrification and Energy Solutions division, contracting as Battery Design Engineer. The team delivers advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products, and technologies. The solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries. You will build and scale the next generation of technologies, products, and services, helping to build a better—more sustainable—world. Your background includes Both mechanical and electrical experience. To Produce an electric powertrain for retrofitting into machinery. Advances Creo and ability in developing electrical harnesses. Designing electrical components and design of hardware. Carrying out risks assessments (DFMEAs) 3D CAD design of Electrical System components, assemblies, LV harness and HV Cables This is an onsite role, there might some flexible working arrangement on a case-by-case basis.
