Job Title: Kubernetes Specialist / SME Location: Remote - 2 days p/month in Sheffield Job Type: Contract (Inside IR35) - 9 months initially w/ likely extensions Rate: £550-575 p/day About the Role: We are looking for a Kubernetes Specialist / SME to join our client's team. In this role, you’ll be assisting with a big data transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and migrating a host of applications suites to a Kubernetes infrastructure environment. Requirements: Kubernetes implementation, Kubernetes-specific architecture, hands-on migration work, Kubernetes Security Spark S3 Engine Terraform Ansible CI/CD Hadoop Linux / RHEL – on prem background / container management Grafana or Elastic Search– for observability Desirable: experience with Open Telemetry and/or Argo This is an urgent requirement - suitable candidates should apply ASAP for consideration.
