Job Title: Business Analyst – GIS Location: Warwick - Hybrid 2-3 days Contract Duration: 6 months (with rolling extension) Rate: Inside IR35 - Open to market rates About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or prior experience working on GIS-related projects. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the scoping, analysis, and delivery of a GIS project, working closely with stakeholders to capture requirements and help shape solutions that drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define detailed business requirements. Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Develop and document business process models for current and future states. Propose and design technical and process solutions aligned with business objectives. Work closely with IT teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and are successfully implemented. Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and leadership. Create comprehensive documentation covering requirements, processes, and solutions. Participate in testing and validating new systems or processes. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Key Skills & Experience: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Prior experience working with or supporting GIS platforms or similar projects.
