Senior Quantity Surveyor – Permanent Role Location: Sheffield (Hybrid/Flexible working available) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading provider of specialist structural services on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting infrastructure projects within a collaborative and dynamic commercial team, with long-term career progression and development. Key Responsibilities: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for: Reviewing and negotiating NEC 3 & NEC 4 contracts. Drafting and issuing short form contracts to the supply chain. Providing accurate project rates to support tenders and live works. Negotiating and verifying Compensation Events with clients and sub-contractors alongside Project Managers. Raising and reviewing invoices, assisted by the Finance team. Preparing and submitting applications for payment to clients. Following up on contract agreements and resolving outstanding issues. Reviewing CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) in collaboration with the Finance team. Ensuring accurate revenue recognition and allocation. What we’re looking for: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure sectors. Strong working knowledge of NEC forms of contract. Proficiency with accounting and project management platforms. Excellent negotiation, commercial, and communication skills. Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
