This is an exciting time to join Tunstall as we undergo a transformation. You will be part of a growing global Information Security team and play a key role in this transformation. Proactively improve and challenge the suitability of security controls and tools, revisiting whether they can be improved or replaced. Have considerable experience in cybersecurity, with proven experience in a similar security engineer role. Deep understanding of the cybersecurity market, threats, adversarial techniques, industry frameworks, standards, and best practices such as MITRE. Manage backlog of new features, prioritize based on stakeholder input, discuss future roadmap with vendors, and plan improvements. Support security operations teams during troubleshooting and incidents. Continuously challenge and improve security controls and tools. Prepare analysis reports on gaps and roadmaps. Conduct market research and pilot security solutions. Support SOC in integrating new security controls for monitoring and detection. Maintain a mindset of innovation and continuous improvement. Key skills and experience: Proven cybersecurity experience, similar security engineer role. Deep understanding of cybersecurity market, threats, techniques, frameworks like MITRE. Strong technical background in IT and cybersecurity. Experience building and testing controls in a multinational organization. Understanding of cryptography and secure protocols. Passion for technical work and thorough documentation. Ability to manage complexity and make decisions under uncertainty. Effective communication skills in English (CEFR B2).
