The Work You'll Do: The Regulatory Liaison Counsel - ISVs and Embedded Partners will support Sovos’ global ISV ecosystem and revenue by engaging with partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in their solutions and customer implementations. This role combines legal expertise with partnership facilitation, reporting to the VP of Regulatory Analysis and Design. Bridge the gap between Sovos' regulatory expertise and its strategic ISV partners, ensuring compliance integration across markets. Collaborate with teams managing business and technical relationships with ISV partners to meet compliance needs. Maintain a regulatory helpdesk SLA for timely and appropriate regulatory support to partners. Deepen understanding of Sovos Regulatory Affairs and liaise with public authorities. Work with various internal teams to understand and support the partner ecosystem's compliance needs. Represent partner requirements in regulatory monitoring, design, and affairs activities. Support resource planning and optimization within the Regulatory Analysis and Design Department. Explain complex tax rules clearly to both tax and non-tax professionals. Assist Partner Marketing with tax-centric materials and webinars. What We Need From You: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law, finance, or accounting master’s degree. Proficiency in legislative tracking and tax research. Experience in enterprise software market and understanding of business processes. Strong communication skills with IT, data science, and business professionals. Team-oriented with experience in fast-paced environments. Excellent research, analysis, and writing skills.
