The Madrid office works with diverse clients and handles various projects, including IFRS17, Solvency II, Economic Valuation, Due Diligence, M&A, and the implementation of actuarial and financial models to support valuation, product development, and actuarial studies. The Consultant will participate in a wide array of these consulting projects, with opportunities to work on international projects alongside the firm's European team of actuaries and consultants. Responsibilities Programming and verifying calculations for client projects such as actuarial and economic valuation, IFRS17, Solvency II, pricing, or reserving. Constructing and configuring actuarial models for valuation, pricing, and reserving using commercial actuarial software. Performing data validation, exploratory analysis, analytics, and visualization. Documenting and ensuring traceability of work performed. Participating effectively in client meetings. Proactively suggesting improvements to work processes and contributing ideas for R&D. Qualifications and Skills Educational Requirements: Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Experience and Skills: 1-2 years of actuarial experience. Participation in relevant actuarial and financial projects (modeling, valuation, Solvency II, capital, IFRS17, provisioning, pricing). Proficiency in Excel / VBA. Experience with actuarial, financial, and pricing software or modeling (Prophet experience is a plus). Data analysis skills with tools like PowerBI, R, SQL, SAS, Python, Tableau, MATLAB. Solid understanding of basic actuarial concepts and insurance lines of business. General Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Good organizational abilities. Willingness to learn and teach new concepts and techniques. Ability to work independently and in teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory; knowledge of French and Portuguese is advantageous. J-18808-Ljbffr
