We are actively seeking a Senior Contract Manager to join our team for a Photovoltaic Plant construction project in the USA. Location: The Woodlands, Texas, USA (on-site position) Duration: Estimated 2 years with potential for continuity in future projects. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour break). Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Contract Manager to oversee contract negotiations, compliance, and administration for our renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar photovoltaic (PV) plants . This role requires a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in contract management within the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities Contract Lifecycle Management: Develop, negotiate, review, and manage contracts from initiation to execution and closeout. Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure all contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and company policies, identifying and addressing potential risks. Performance Monitoring: Oversee contract compliance, tracking deliverables, milestones, and obligations to ensure all parties meet their commitments. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, legal teams, procurement specialists, and external partners to resolve contractual issues. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and correspondence to support audits and project management. Dispute Resolution & Claims Management: Assist in handling disputes, claims, and negotiations to protect company interests. Market & Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed on industry standards, contract law, and evolving regulations that impact renewable energy projects. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of contract management experience in solar photovoltaic projects (PV plants). Experience in projects in the USA. Contract Law Expertise: Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and regulatory compliance. Negotiation & Communication: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Technical Proficiency: Experience using contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Project Handling: Ability to manage multiple contracts in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with power purchase agreements (PPAs), grid interconnection agreements, and renewable energy financing. What We Offer Handling and payment of the US work visa.
