Pre-Contracts Manager Job in Farringdon, London Pre-Contracts Manager job available with a leading workplace design and build firm in Central London. Working on high-end and creative projects across the city, the role is suited to someone with experience in the sector and looking to be part of a collaborative team with lots of client-facing opportunities. Offering up to £100,000 plus commission! Our client is a highly regarded workplace design and build firm, working with clients across a range of sectors including technology, finance, social media, and more. Typically working on 5-6 projects a year, valued at multiple millions. They are looking for an experienced pre-contracts manager to join their team, supporting with project feasibility studies, contracts negotiations, pitching, presenting, and supporting with internal process management. It's the chance to be part of a creative and outgoing team, working on a portfolio of unique and often award-winning projects. Role & Responsibilities Build strong relationships with clients, landlords, and project teams; lead subcontractor/client meetings and manage site and delivery teams across multiple live projects Ensure snag-free, high-quality project delivery on time and within budget; oversee all build stages and maintain excellent site standards Site visits to monitor build quality and compliance with British Standards, codes, and best practices Deliver all pre-construction activities including surveys, design coordination, cost planning, tenders, H&S planning, landlord submissions, and full contract packs Maintain exemplary site setups and ensure full compliance with statutory Health & Safety requirements Manage tenders, trade procurement, budgets, valuations, cash flow, cost reporting, variation orders, and final accounts to improve gross profit Create pre-contract, construction, micro, and finishes programmes; maintain clear reporting on timelines and deliverables Understand JCT/contract terms; manage handovers, issue PC certificates, coordinate O&M manuals, and resolve post-completion defects.Required Skills & Experience Degree qualified in construction management, or similar Proven experience working on design and build projects Ms Office and Ms Project, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Revit are desirable Client-facing and pitch presentation experience.What you get back Salary of £80,000 - £100,000 Commission scheme of 1% 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown Social events throughout the year Progression opportunities as the team expands.Apply If you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
