We are working with a very well-established company in Great Blakenham to find the next member of their finance department to join their wonderful team on a full time, permanent basis Key Job Duties Looking after the Purchase Ledger Inbox Processing incoming invoices and raising POs where required Dealing with any supplier queries Arranging weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring timely settlement of accounts Scanning any incoming post Raising supplier statements Working with and updating the finance system as required why you should apply. The Finance Assistant will join a friendly and supportive team, where you will be encouraged to progress and take further accountancy qualifications. You will be working directly with the management accountant, so therefore have the opportunity to learn more complex accounting functions as you go on in your career. There is a team of 2 other finance assistants and the finance manager too. what we're looking for. We are seeking someone with previous experience of working within a similar accountancy role, and who has great written and verbal communication skills. A Finance qualification or currently undertaking a qualification such as AAT would be fantastic too. The Finance Assistant will also be a proficient user of all Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as Sage/Xero.
