Welder Fabricator

We’re hiring for a Welder/Fabricator to join a specialist engineering team at their site based in Bury. If you’ve got experience with MIG/TIG welding and a background in metal fabrication, this could be a great opportunity to join a company that values quality, precision, and its people. What’s on offer? * £18.00 - £20.00 per hour * Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm * Early finish on Fridays * Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate) * 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * BUPA Healthcare plan (after 1 year) * Pension scheme * Company events What will you be doing as a Welder/Fabricator? * MIG and TIG welding on stainless and mild steel from 1.5mm to 5mm * Fabrication work ranging from full builds to guillotining, press brake folding and rolling * Working on large-scale ducting systems and bespoke metalwork * Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans * Supporting the team with high-quality, precision welding and assembly tasks What do you need? * Previous experience in MIG and TIG welding * Ability to work with stainless and mild steel * Strong fabrication skills across various processes (guillotine, folding, rolling, etc.) * Ideally previously coded in welding (desirable) * A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and within a team Apply today or speak with Joy at KPJ Group for more information between 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday.
