Sliding Head Machinist

Job Role: CNC Machinist (Sliding Head) Location: Alfreton Salary: £13.75 - £19.25 per hour (depending on experience and shifts) Metalis are currently working with a precision manufacturer, who produce high quality products and are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist (Sliding Head) to join their team. Job Duties: Set and operate Star Sliding Head machines Check parts once they have been machined Carry out routine checks on machinery - fill lubricants and coolant Change tooling on the machines Read and work from engineering drawings Job Requirements: Star Sliding Head experience Able to read and work from engineering drawings Programming knowledge (desired) Willing to work earlies and lates OR permanent nights Salary & Shift: £13.75 - £19.25 per hour (depending on experience and shifts) Rotating shift pattern (earlies and lates OR permanent nights) Earlies - Monday to Thursday, 6am - 2pm & Friday, 6am - 1pm Lates - Monday to Thursday, 2pm - 1pm & Friday, 1pm - 8pm Nights - Sunday, 11pm - 6am & Monday to Thursday, 10pm - 6am If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV
