Job Description
Park HR is delighted to partner with a well established organisation in Totton to recruit a dedicated and proactive Facilities Assistant / Caretaker . This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual to join a supportive team, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the site. *A full and clean UK Driving License is required* Key Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs. Ensure the site is clean, safe, and well-presented at all times. Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any issues. Assist with setting up rooms for events or meetings. Monitor and maintain heating, lighting, and security systems. Support health and safety compliance, including fire safety checks. Liaise with contractors and suppliers as needed. About You: Previous experience in a caretaker, facilities, or maintenance role is desirable. Practical skills in basic repairs and maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Good communication skills and a team player mentality. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A full UK driving license is essential. An enhanced DBS check will be required for succesful applicants. Basic IT skills for record-keeping. What’s on Offer: Competitive salary of £23,492 per year.
