Quality Engineer

About the Role: AA Euro Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Engineer to join a reputable and well-established engineering company working on substation projects across the Glasgow region. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and implement quality control processes across electrical substation projects Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of electrical systems and equipment Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation and reports Liaise with site teams, project managers, and clients to resolve quality-related issues Support continuous improvement initiatives across project sites Participate in commissioning activities where required Requirements: Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field Proven experience in a quality engineering role within the power, utility, or substation sector Strong knowledge of electrical systems and relevant safety and quality standards Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality frameworks Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Right to work in the UK
