Key Responsibilities: Teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students. Support students in developing their skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development. Collaborate with colleagues in the English department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning. Contribute to extra-curricular activities related to English, such as clubs or events. Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a positive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential). A passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students.
