Head of Engineering

IntaPeople are pleased to be working with a local team, as they're on the search for a hands-on, forward-thinking Head of Engineering to lead the charge in mechanical design, product development, and project delivery. The Role Working onsite 5 days a week in Bridgend (candidate needs to be local to South Wales), you’ll be the go-to person for all things engineering – reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with the company’s directors. Responsibilities of the position Leading mechanical design and development across a wide range of projects Overseeing manufacturing and production functions, ensuring operational excellence Owning the entire engineering lifecycle from concept through to delivery Managing and executing cross-functional engineering projects Defining company requirements and contributing to high-level business strategy Driving continuous improvement across design, manufacturing processes, and products Acting as a key technical leader across the business What we’re looking for Strong background in mechanical engineering/design - 10 years experience Proven experience managing engineering teams and leading complex projects Solid understanding of manufacturing and production environments Confident working closely with C-suite leaders and influencing business decisions Strategic mindset with a hands-on, solution-focused approach If this is something you feel suits your background, then feel free to apply within.
