To meet the minimum requirements, youll need a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Automation, or Process Control and at least 3 years of experience in Factory Automation or a similar role. You should understand both mechanical and electrical systems, be able to read technical diagrams, and have experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. Knowledge and understanding of electrical installation regulations and electrical machinery regulations (OHS Act) is also necessary.
