Location Roma, Italy Company Overview aizoOn, a global independent technology consulting firm specializing in innovation, is seeking a System & Network Engineer . Role Description The successful candidate, a graduate in Engineering, will join the IT area of the Aerospace, Defense & Naval Division at aizoOn. They will be involved in System and Network Engineering activities within a Mission Planning and Support laboratory, focusing on software component development in the aeronautics sector for a leading client. Main Activities Support and maintenance System administration System support to ensure the efficiency of the current laboratory systems, including updates based on scheduled releases or evolving needs Preparation of technical specifications and documentation, primarily in English Participation in meetings Requirements At least three years of experience in a similar role Ability to work closely with end clients and external partners Good knowledge of the English language Proactivity, flexibility, and results-oriented mindset Knowledge of major network communication protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, etc.) Experience with distributed simulation protocols: DIS/HLA Skills in managing and operating Windows systems (Client/Server) Experience configuring network devices (switches/routers/firewalls) Work Location The main workplace will be in Pratica Di Mare, with some activities, especially training, at the Rome Tiburtina office.
