Job Description
Mechanical and Launch Services Engineer - protected categories (L.69/99) Tyvak International is seeking new team members to support space vehicle development, focusing on nano-satellite technology. The team specializes in architecture, design, build, and testing of mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems for small spacecraft. As Mechanical Engineer with experience in Launch Services - belonging to protected categories (L. 68/99) , you will join a collaborative team managing pre-launch and launch activities for innovative satellite solutions. Responsibilities include hardware development across all phases—requirements, design, testing, integration, and documentation—in a fast-paced environment. Creativity and a multidisciplinary approach are essential to develop safe and reliable satellite deployment solutions. Key tasks include: Collaborating with electrical, systems, mechanical, and structural engineers to develop solutions Participating in hardware requirements, design, and testing discussions Designing satellite deployment mechanisms and miniaturized devices Developing assembly procedures, test plans, and documentation Contributing to vehicle design discussions for current and future projects Maintaining the 3D model database Selecting materials and coatings for deployment mechanisms Working in office and lab environments Handling off-nominal scenarios and making Go/No-Go decisions in high-pressure situations Requirements: Membership in protected categories (L. 68/99) is mandatory Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related fields At least 2 years of relevant experience Strong mechanical skills and proficiency with SolidWorks, MSC Nastran Ability to solve complex problems creatively Attention to detail and good documentation skills Effective communication skills in English Experience working with flight hardware and precision inspection tools Benefits: Competitive salary, Welfare, Private Insurance, Flexible hours.
