Director Operations (m/f/d)

Locations Options: France, Portugal, United Kingdom We are looking for an experienced Operations Director for a major international chemicals manufacturer who will be responsible for 8 sites in Europe. The Operations Director for Europe will report to the Vice President of Global Operations, focusing on regional manufacturing and team leadership. Responsibilities include developing and executing manufacturing strategies, driving automation and continuous improvement, overseeing facility upgrades, and ensuring customer satisfaction and cost control. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute manufacturing strategies. Lead with a strong focus on safety. Build a high-performance culture. Drive automation and continuous improvement. Evaluate and develop plant management talent. Oversee facility upgrades and CAPEX decisions. Support new product introductions. Integrate new acquisitions. Manage regional supply chain functions. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management. Senior leadership experience in manufacturing for mutliple sites. Proven track record in process improvements and automation. Cultural awareness of European countries. Collaborative and hands-on leadership style. Experience in the process industry (Chemicals, Packaging, Food&Beverage, Pharma etc)
