Internal Controls & Policy Analyst

Objective: Execute the implementation of global policies, develop local policies and work instructions, maintain documentation, communicate updates and new policies, and ensure process alignment with risk management strategies. Day to day (main tasks): Policy Enactment and Development: • Implement and enforce global policies across the organization. • Develop and adapt local policies and work instructions to align with local regulations and operational needs. • Ensure compliance of all policies with relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate standards. Documentation Maintenance: • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all policies and procedures. • Review and update documentation regularly to reflect changes in regulations, standards, and organizational requirements. Communication: • Communicate updates and new policies to relevant stakeholders. • Provide training and support to ensure understanding and compliance. • Develop clear and concise communication materials for policy dissemination. Process Maintenance: • Monitor and ensure alignment of all processes with current policy requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements. • Conduct regular audits to verify process adherence and effectiveness. Audit Support: • Collaborate in the development and execution of internal audits. • Support the implementation of corrective actions and remediations from corporate, external, and internal audits. • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of audit findings to ensure timely resolution. Risk Management: • Report potential risks associated with policy implementation and process changes. • Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies. Internal Control Compliance: • Ensure adherence to internal controls and internal policies. • Support the continuous improvement and alignment of controls with organizational objectives. Profile: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. Previous experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in governance, policy management, or a related role Languages : Advanced English · Location: CDMX (Santa Fe) · Local contract applies. · Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
