Job Profile: Sr .NET Developer Job type: Long- Time based job opportunity Location: 100% Remote in Mexico Job Description: Job Description – Key Responsibilities: Lead or support the migration of legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET Core/.NET 8 Refactor existing codebases to align with modern .NET architectural standards Analyze existing system dependencies and address compatibility issues during migration Optimize performance and reliability of migrated applications Collaborate with architects, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth transition and deployment Follow secure coding practices and banking compliance standards Provide post-migration support and troubleshoot any runtime issues Document migration steps, patterns, and lessons learned for reusability Required Skills: 10 years of experience in .NET development Strong expertise in .NET Framework (4.x) and .NET Core/.NET 6–8 Solid understanding of C#, REST APIs, Entity Framework, and asynchronous programming Experience with migration strategies and modernization of monolithic apps Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines SQL Server experience for backend data handling Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in banking or fintech environments Familiarity with security and regulatory practices (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS Certifications (Nice to Have): Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer
