Senior PHP Developer - Backend Architecture

Job Description : We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior PHP Developer to join our growing development team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working on complex business web applications, and is passionate about writing high-quality, maintainable code. You will be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of web application developmentfrom conceptualization and design to coding, testing, deployment, and support. Candidates with more experience will be considered for Team Lead positions with added responsibilities in mentoring and project ownership. Key Responsibilities : - Develop robust, secure, and high-standard PHP applications following modern coding best practices. - Lead or contribute to full-cycle software development projects including requirement analysis, architecture design, development, deployment, and post-launch maintenance. - Manage and execute complex programming logic to meet custom business requirements efficiently and within deadlines. - Optimize back-end logic, database queries, and functions. - Conduct or participate in code and project review sessions. - Follow organizational standards and ensure code quality, reusability, and compliance with best practices across all development stages. - Work closely with other developers, designers, QA engineers, and project managers for seamless integration and delivery. - Guide junior developers, conduct training sessions, and promote knowledge sharing within the team. - Provide accurate time and resource estimations, track progress, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope. Required Qualifications & Skills : Bachelor's /masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : - Minimum of 2 years working on PHP-based business web applications. - Candidates with 5 years may be considered for a Senior/Lead Developer role. Technical Skills : Core PHP : Solid understanding of PHP 7.x/8.x and OOP principles. Frameworks : Strong working experience with CodeIgniter (CI) or Laravel. Front-End Technologies : Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, and responsive design practices. Databases : Advanced SQL knowledge, including the ability to write stored procedures and optimize complex queries. Version Control : Experience with Git or Bitbucket for version control and collaborative development workflows. APIs : Knowledge of building and integrating RESTful web services.
