As part of a fast-paced and dynamic production environment, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the efficiency of production machinery and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of machinery and equipment within the production facility. Diagnose and repair faults in both electrical and mechanical systems. Carry out regular inspections and servicing to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations. Collaborate with management to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules. Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and improvements. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment (ideally food manufacturing). Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on both systems. Experience with PLC fault finding and control systems. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, BRC, etc.) is highly advantageous. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) in electrical, mechanical, or maintenance engineering. What Our Client Offers: Competitive salary and benefits package.
