Job Title: Estimator Location: Rochford, Essex (Hybrid – Office & Remote Working) Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 Benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a rapidly growing main contractor based in Rochford, Essex. With a strong pipeline of work and well-established processes, this role is ideal for someone with around 6 years’ experience who is looking to take ownership of the estimating function and contribute to the business’s continued success. Key Responsibilities: Take the lead on estimating for a range of projects including education, commercial offices, theatres, and select residential developments. Manage the preparation and submission of tenders, working closely with the Pre-Construction and wider delivery teams. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. Support the commercial team with cost planning and value engineering. Maintain and improve internal estimating systems and databases. What We're Looking For: Around 6 years of estimating experience within a main contracting environment. A driven and ambitious individual, ideally looking to step up and lead the estimating function. Experience across similar sectors (education, commercial, residential) is beneficial. Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills. Based within a commutable distance to Rochford, Essex – with flexible working available. Why Join?
