Medical Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Imaging Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role focuses on positron emission tomography (PET) and computed tomography (CT) scans , ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The successful candidate will also manage relationships with imaging equipment vendors, oversee procurement, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain PET and CT imaging equipment , ensuring optimal performance. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, adhering to safety and quality protocols . Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to optimize imaging techniques. Oversee vendor management , including equipment procurement, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in medical imaging. Train and support staff on imaging technologies and software. Analyze imaging data to support clinical decision-making. Required Qualifications & Experience Degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field . Certification/licensure as required by local healthcare regulations. Proven experience in PET and CT imaging procedures. Strong background in vendor management , equipment procurement, and maintenance coordination. Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and imaging protocols . Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with advanced imaging software and post-processing techniques. Prior involvement in research or clinical trials related to medical imaging.
