Lead Data Platform Engineer – GCP £95,000 per annum London (Hybrid) La Fosse have partnered with a very well-established brand who are looking to hire a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to join an industry-leading team . This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-impact role within a forward-thinking data environment. What You’ll Be Doing: Leading a small team of engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance. Taking ownership of the health and stability of a widely used data platform. Managing and improving a heavy Airflow estate within a GCP-based environment. Ensuring robust engineering practices and continuous platform improvement. Tech Stack: GCP and Airflow, (essential) dbt, Terraform, Kubernetes (nice to have) Exposure to ChatGPT and AI innovation (a bonus) Who You Are: A self-starter with excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving ability. Experienced in line management , team leadership, and technical mentoring. Confident working in a modern cloud-based data ecosystem.
