Payroll & Pensions Team Lead Duration : Permanent Contract Location : Staffordshire/Hybrid (3 days on-site) Salary : £33,500 - £38,000 excellent benefits including 32 day holiday bank holidays Hours : 37 Hours per week, Monday – Friday (9-5) Duties/Responsibilities: Accurately deliver monthly payroll and pensions services, following current laws, policies and procedures Act as main contact for pay and pensions queries, giving clear and compliant expert advice Maintain strong payroll governance, with documented controls, regular reviews and consistent audit readiness Ensure integrated payroll systems meet legal standards and process monthly payroll accurately Review and improve payroll processes regularly for better efficiency, accuracy and staff capability Assist in completing annual system tasks and updates, supporting smooth payroll operations Required experience: 5 years of experience in a similar level role Experience in senior payroll roles, including defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes Strong understanding of payroll systems, tax, national insurance and electronic processing tools To discuss this role in more detail and to secure this opportunity, please contact Robbie Cox (Executive Consultant) on 0121 616 0660 or rcox@venngroup.com At Venn Group we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the volume of applications which we receive this is not always possible.
