Laboratory Technician

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent Job Title: Laboratory Technician Benefits: Competitive Salary: £35,000- £40,000 Hours: Monday to Friday - 6:30/7:00am Start - 8 Hour Shift Location: Gravesend Role Responsibilities Materials Tech/Site engineer: Routine inspections, sampling and testing Aggregate/recycled and Earthworks materials, Concrete and Asphalt Leading the production of compressive strength specimens Taking part in research and development projects Particle size and density testing Physical material trials, reporting findings and specific progress Desirable: Experience working within a test lab within construction i.e CET, Socotec, ESG etc. Experience as a construction materials technician, laboratory technician or site engineer within construction. Knowledge of granular materials sampling, particle size distribution testing and strength testing would be beneficial. Desire to learn and develop within this role, attitude is crucial
