SCCM Consultant / Endpoint Deployment Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SCCM Consultant to join the Technical and Integration Department of DISU (Direction Innovation et Services aux Usages) for a long-term mission with one of our leading French clients. You will be an integral part of the Software Deployment team, responsible for the secure and efficient deployment of Microsoft security patches across a fleet of 60,000 workstations (PCs, mobile devices, and specialised terminals). Key Responsibilities Manage and execute the monthly deployment of Microsoft Security Patches (Core updates, M365, Edge, etc.) using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM / SCCM) . Adhere to the defined deployment lifecycle: Preproduction, Pilot, and Full Rollout phases. Collaborate closely with Security teams and Workstation MOA/MOE stakeholders. Participate in weekly planning meetings to ensure timely and successful patch delivery. Monitor deployment progress and update the compliance dashboard accordingly. Proactively manage and resolve issues that may impact deployment timelines or workstation health. Key Requirements Proven experience with Microsoft SCCM / MECM in large-scale enterprise environments. Strong understanding of Windows operating systems , patch cycles, and Microsoft security updates . Experience with structured deployment processes and phased rollouts. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working on-site 3 days per week in Rennes . Nice to Have Familiarity with MOA/MOE workflows in public or semi-public organisations. French language proficiency (written and spoken). Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
