Workplace Receptionist

Position: Workplace ReceptionistLocation: Toronto, ON - On-siteHours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5pmJob Type: 6-month contract to startDuties: - Oversee the front desk and reception area, welcoming visitors, employees, and vendors. - Partner with vendors and the Workplace team to maintain office cleanliness and visual standards. - Organize and stock office spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, common areas, and conference rooms. - Coordinate with building security for access requests and manage open work orders with building management. - Assist with incoming tickets and emails by triaging, assigning tasks, or escalating issues as needed. - Handle mail and packages, ensuring notifications and timely distribution to employees. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and onsite events. - Support employee programs such as engagement and health and safety initiatives. - Perform general administrative tasks and additional duties as assigned.Requirements:- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage reception duties, office upkeep, and administrative support. - Experience coordinating with vendors, building management, and security teams to maintain a smooth workplace environment. - Excellent communication skills for triaging tickets, handling internal requests, and supporting cross-functional teams and events.- Proactive and detail-oriented mindset to support employee programs, manage mail/packages, and ensure office spaces are well-stocked and presentable.
