Job Overview: The Chief Digital and IT Transformation Officer at MIFA plays a crucial role in shaping and executing MIFAs digital and IT strategy to drive the organisation's growth and innovation. This leadership position is responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business goals, overseeing IT governance, managing digital transformation, and ensuring robust cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead the IT function with strategic vision, ensuring that MIFA's technology landscape supports and enhances overall business performance. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Direction: Develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with MIFAs business objectives that remains cost effective. Lead the IT team in delivering technology solutions that align with strategic objectives. Prioritise and oversee the deployment of critical IT functions, tools, and technologies. Provide IT expertise to executive committees and contribute to strategic planning. Lead and mentor the technical team to foster a culture of innovation and excellence. Oversee the development and deployment of innovative tech solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience. Establish and maintain relationships with technology partners and vendors. Digital Transformation: Collaborate with executive leadership to create and execute a digital transformation roadmap. Optimise and manage organisational processes to support continuous digital innovation. Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies that enhance business growth and stakeholder engagement. Ensure the security and scalability of all technology platforms. IT Governance & Information Management: Establish a robust IT governance framework that aligns with MIFAs business strategy. Develop and implement a comprehensive information management strategy, ensuring compliance with data governance regulations. Information Technology Management: Lead IT strategic and operational planning to meet business goals. Oversee the effective deployment and management of IT resources to maximise business impact. Enterprise and Business Architecture: Guide the development of enterprise-wide architecture to support MIFAs strategic objectives. Ensure alignment between business strategies and technology initiatives. Cloud Migration & IT Auditing: Manage the lifecycle of cloud environments, ensuring successful migrations and continuous optimisation. Coordinate IT audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. Risk Management & Cybersecurity: Align IT risk management with broader organisational risk management efforts. Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect MIFAs data and systems. Ensure MIFAs compliance with FSCA Joint Standards on cybersecurity resilience and requirements. Define and implement an integrated and holistic approach to security management ensuring that MIFA becomes a threat resilient organisation. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Collaborate with Business Continuity management to ensure robust disaster recovery strategies. Lead disaster recovery planning and testing and represent this function in budgeting processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science or information technology. Postgraduate qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology are advantageous. Experience: Proven experience as a Chief Digital and IT Transformation Officer or other relevant leadership role in technology. At least 15 years of experience in information systems and project management. A minimum of 8 years of experience in leading IT functions and teams. Proven track record in developing and implementing IT and digital strategies. Strong background in software development, systems architecture, and IT infrastructure. Deep understanding of technology trends, best practices, and key performance indicators. Knowledge & Skills: Deep understanding of IT governance frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ISO, and NIST. Strong expertise in cybersecurity and risk management. Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on timely and budget-compliant delivery. Strategic leadership and financial management capabilities. Competencies: Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and empower teams. Decision-Making: Effective in making clear, decisive actions.
