Factory Automation Manager

Join an FMCG team as a Factory Automation Manager in the Western Cape! As a Factory Automation Engineer, youll design, build, and improve automated systems to make production faster, safer, and more efficient. Youll help manage large automation projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and work with robotics, sensors, and control systems. Your role will also involve supporting production teams and identifying ways to improve factory processes. To meet the minimum requirements, youll need a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Automation, or Process Control and at least 3 years of experience in Factory Automation or a similar role. You should understand both mechanical and electrical systems, be able to read technical diagrams, and have experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. Knowledge and understanding of electrical installation regulations and electrical machinery regulations (OHS Act) is also necessary.
