Job Description

Follow established procedures to maintain the accounting records of the company, keep a record of and control accounts payable, expenses, and invoices to ensure that the books are accurate. Responsibilities and duties • Financial Statements for the business unit. • End-of-month process including reports and variation explanations for Corporate. • Weekly/Monthly expense reports for the business unit. • Prepare, review, and post journal entries in the GL/AR/AP/Fixed Assets module. • Bank Accounts reconciliation in MXN & Dollars currency. • Monthly upload of information into the BPC Platform as part of the month-end closing. • Monthly/Quarterly validations for the BPC platform. • Set the payment run for suppliers on the Accounting Platform. • Prepare the annual budget according to corporate guidelines in coordination with the Shared Services Finance Manager. • MX Fixed Assets Control and posting in the Accounting Platform, which includes capitalization, tags, and inventory. • Attend to information requests related to external audits. • Daily review of information such as cost center and GL accounts for purchasing requisitions in MRO. • Perform all other tasks or responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor. Education, Experience and Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • 5-7 years of experience in Maquila Operations. • Knowledge of FRS, NIF, or USGAAP accounting standards. • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. • Knowledge of Oracle, Compaq ERP, and BPC Platform for consolidation. • Advanced Excel skills. • Bilingual in English & Spanish.
