Informatica PowerCenter Architect

Responsibilities for this position include: Create functional design for overall business intelligence solutions Design Data Integration (ETL) projects using Informatica Work with the Data Architecture group in the implementation of data warehousing solution Develop and implement design and coding standards in Informatica Participate in the entire project lifecycle including design and development of ETL solutions Design data integration and conversion strategy, exception handing mechanism, data retention and archival strategy Creating advanced mapping, mapplets, transformations, sessions, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter 9.6 Designing and developing data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading processes and workflows to load data into Oracle EDW environment Guiding other team members and external vendors to perform the same Analyzing data integration requirements, analyzing data sources and targets, business rules, and transformation logic Qualifications for informatica architect Use the Informatica platform to extract, transform, and load data 8 years of hands-on experience with Informatica 8 years Information Technology and Software Development experience within data warehousing domain required Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Telecom industry Capability of articulating and communicating ETL design / strategy to other internal / external team members Experience with OSS / BSS applications / functions including Order Management, Fulfillment, CRM, Service Delivery, Collection / Billing, Service Assurance, Business Intelligence / Reporting and Alarm Management / Ticketing systems highly desirable
