The Role We’re looking for an FP&A and Accounting specialist to join our Finance team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and providing timely financial planning and reporting to support strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with our CFO, Finance Business Partner, and external consultants to ensure our financial operations run smoothly and in compliance with local regulations. You’ll play a key role in helping Kampaay scale by bringing financial acumen, precision, reliability, and process thinking to all financial planning, accounting, and reporting activities. What You’ll Do FP&A & Strategic Finance Support the preparation of monthly management reports and investor reporting Track and analyze company budget vs actuals, identifying variances and trends Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities Partner with business teams (Sales, Ops, HR) to support decision-making with data Assist in scenario analysis and strategic planning initiatives Contribute to ESG and non-financial reporting (as relevant) Accounting & Compliance Own day-to-day accounting operations (general ledger, A/P, A/R, bookkeeping) Manage month-end and year-end closing (P&L, cash flow, accruals) Reconcile bank statements and oversee banking operations Oversee accounting for employee-related costs in coordination with HR Ensure VAT and tax compliance (with support of external advisors) Liaise with external tax/accounting consultants on complex issues Maintain and improve documentation and internal controls Tools & Optimization Support the implementation or improvement of accounting/finance systems (ERP, automation tools) Drive process improvements and automation across finance workflows What We’re Looking For 4 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or financial controlling (experience in startups or high-growth companies is a plus) Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Management Engineering Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles (IFRS is a plus) Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with accounting tools (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) Analytical mindset with great attention to detail and a structured, hands-on approach Curious and tech-savvy: interested in automation and optimization of processes Fluent in English (B2) and confident in cross-team collaboration Open to feedback, growth-oriented, and a team player with a positive mindset What You’ll Get Competitive salary package Flexible hybrid working policy Annual learning and development budget Health & wellness perks (Gympass, mental health support) Daily meal vouchers (8€/day) A team-first culture that values transparency, collaboration, and ownership Growth opportunities and internal mobility Regular team events, offsites, and aperitivos Why Join Us?
